Homeopathy is a system of medicine that was formulated by a German physician named Dr. Samuel Hahnemann in the 1800’s. The remedies are made of all natural substances derived from animals, plants or minerals which are then diluted and succussed (shaken) to bring out their healing powers. They are generally taken as small pills under the tongue or as a liquid. Depending on the situation, they can be taken daily or even as little as just once. Unlike modern medicine, homeopathic remedies are not prescribed for specific diseases; but rather a remedy is chosen by the homeopath that fits the whole person. In the homeopathic interview the practitioner will want to know physical symptoms but also your mental and emotional nature. What is unique about you? You will also be asked about things such as food preferences, fears and dreams. Details can be very important and in fact, anything you think is especially unusual can help with the remedy selection. There are approximately 5000 remedies at present. They have been studied to see what these substances will cause in a healthy person. The job of the homeopath is to match what that remedy normally causes in a healthy person with the symptoms of the client. The correct remedy will act on an energetic level and shift mental, emotional and physical symptoms. Because the homeopathy is stimulating the body to heal itself, it can be used to help many chronic health complaints. Some examples of conditions people come to the homeopath for are migraines, allergies, pain, asthma, depression, anxiety, IBS, menstrual problems, seizures; and this is only a partial list.
In order to choose the remedy that is the closest to your individual state, I need to know as much about you as possible. Things that are very unique to you are the most important. The first interview usually lasts between 2 and 3 hours.
Since I will need to study your case in detail, you will not receive a remedy on the day of your appointment. It may take a week or so and I will email you to tell you about your remedy and how to order it. Remedies are rather inexpensive, usually costing between $14 and $30.
I will need to see you again every few months to monitor your progress. Follow-up appointments are normally less than one hour. It would be helpful if you can bring your calendar to set a follow-up appointment date while you are here.
To make an appointment you can call me at 262-689-4089 or email me at skieselhorst@wi.rr. com.
If you are not sure about making an appointment and have questions, I offer a free 15 to 20 minute phone consultation to help you decide.
$300 for an adult initial consultation and $225 for a child. Initial appointments are usually 2-3 hours in duration.
$80 follow-up appointment (usually less than one hour). If I have not seen you in over 2 years, you will be charged the initial consultation fee.
$50 Acute illness by phone or email with $10 charge for each re-contact regarding the same illness. Prolonged conversations over 30 minutes will be charged the
$80 follow-up fee.

I had been a registered nurse for 42 years; 35 years in Intensive Care and the last 7 years in the Recovery Room . I retired from hospital work in 2021. While working in Intensive Care for many years, I saw many severe illnesses and some great saves performed by modern medicine. Still, rarely did the patient leave the hospital truly healed. They were often very weak and on many medications. I felt there had to be a better way.
Success in treating minor illnesses in my own family lead me to seek higher training in homeopathy. I am a graduate of the Northwestern Academy of Homeopathy, a 4 year program located in Minneapolis, Minnesota. After graduation I became a certified classical homeopath (CCH) and completed extra course work to become certified as a CEASE therapist.
